Coffee and a Muffin – has to be the best way to kick of an otherwise nondescript Queensland winter Tuesday. It may not however be the best way to kick of a blog.

My Dancing Bean coffee habit has me over there every weekday morning at 7.30am (that’s when they open) facing my daily dilemma – regular or large and ‘do I want a muffin’. Today was a weak day, I found myself with no discipline. I went large and muffiny. (Strangely enough I’ve been described as that more than once.)

The coffee is really good. I have a long macchiato on skinny milk. Whenever I have weekend coffee somewhere else it tastes like ditch water in comparison.

As well as the excellent coffee and baked goods the staff are awesome. They really do know their stuff when it comes to coffee.

So Matt and co – thanks for the caffeine kick every morning!

So good start to the day, questionable start to the blog, but a start at least!
