Shooting a band…

… this weekend I am.

I dare you to put that noise in your ears.

Will be the first time of testing out my new portable lighting gear and easy pop up ocotobox. It pops up SO easy.

There are a few photoshoots in the planning stage but not much before Mother and Father arrive for staying with us a few weeks.

I will post some band shots when I have them.

I won’t advertise this mini picture less post – I wonder if it will get read. Pretty sure Dubber is the only person I know who knows what RSS is and would be subscribed…

    Ah… yup.

Actually, using plain old email for feeds now. I use http://feedmyinbox.com

They give you a nice little bookmark you can put in the bar up top of your browser, and then if you find yourself on a blog or news site that you want to get updates from, you click it. It sends you a confirmation email, and away you go. The cool thing is that they send you everything from each site in one email, and they come once a day. Mine turn up just before breakfast – so I get an email from BoingBoing, one from TechCrunch, another from the Guardian… each with all of the new articles from that site.

    Displays nice too.

Mind you – I only subscribe to about 30-35 sites. This is one of them. So I get about 30 emails. I skim through them, find the interesting stuff and then delete. I know people who have thousands of RSS feeds using Google Reader or NetNewsWire. It causes them anguish, but they pretend it makes them informed.
